Ben Cristovao, also known as Benny Cristo, was born in Plzeň in 1987 to a Czech mother and an Angolan father. He was a finalist on Česko Slovenská SuperStar in 2009, won a Český slavík for ASIO in 2016, sang Omaga for the Czech Republic at Eurovision 2021 and sold out Prague's Eden stadium in 2025.
